Having worked for over 20 years, as a highly respected stylist, fashion consultant, fashion producer and fashion TV executive, Jane has worked on many flag-ship shows like BBC’s Clothes Show and Style Challenge, Channel 4’s How to Look Good Naked, 10 Years Younger, Miss Naked Beauty and The Model Agency. Discovery’s Your Style in his Hands, Last Chance Salon and Disney’s Get the Look as well as Fashion Wizards. Most recently Jane has embraced digital content and has worked across many You Tube channels. Through her commercial business arm, she has worked with clients like Very, New Look, Debenhams, M&S, Next, Evans, Royal Mint, Lloyds TSB. She is always in demand to create content for anything from a full fashion spectacle to consumer fashion shows or photo shoots. She loves to educate and empower fashion consumers with her passion and knowledge. Jane likes nothing more than facilitating the Big Idea! She brings both extensive production experience and an enviable contacts book to any job she engages with. Career

Digital Fashion Producer at Maverick TV for new YouTube channel  Daily Mix. Working with some of the UK’s biggest YouTube stars to showcase beauty and makeover including Tanya Burr, Pixiewoo and Ruth Crilly’s Street Style Steal. Also contributed to the launch  How to Look Good Channel incorporating top tips from industry experts focussing on hair beauty and fashion working with Charles Worthington, Caryn Franklin and Ariane Poole and Electra Loves featuring Disney star Electra Formosa.

Digital Fashion Producer at Maverick TV. Initiated and developed relationship to create fashion content and films for Very and Shop Direct with Shop the Look functionality built in. In one weekend the 3 year old in store channel grew by more than 800%. Working with Tanya Burr, Pixiewoo and Electra Formosa.

Fashion Director and Show Producer. Jane regularly liaises with clients to create the perfect showcase for the hairdressing world’s elite including L’Oreal, Aveda and Antoinette Beenders.

In-house Fashion Executive Producer at Maverick TV working on programmes like Get The Look and  Fashion Wizards both for Disney Channel and launching presenter Electra Formosa. Channel 4’s Gok Teens, Discovery TV’s Your Style in His Hands with Lisa Snowden. Setting-up projects like Channel 4’s The Model Agency – ground breaking documentary series.

Fashion Presenter for Channel 4’s  Body Shape-Advice films.  Jane presented several mini-styling films, giving advice for 4Beauty. 16 films in total.

Fashion Executive Producer at Channel 4 How To Look Good Naked, Maverick TV. Working with Gok Wan, Jane regularly oversaw all fashion items and content, ranging from Live Catwalks Shows, make-overs, fashion packages with the Gokettes: a diverse group of women who represented a range of achievable body ideals. 5 Consecutive Series, winning a multitude of awards.

2004-09

Event Producer and Onstage Fashion Expert. National Wedding Show NEC, Earls Court, Olympia. Fully interactive live audience show, repeated throughout the day, giving fashion, make-up, hair and floristry advice.

Jane was  co-founder of women’s fashion advice website www.howtolookgood.com which was voted by Yahoo! as one The Top 100 Websites for Women giving free and helpful fashion advice. 3000 e-books per month are downloaded by visitors globally who receive uplifting and supportive fashion advice for a range of body shapes.

Fashion Producer for BBC Style Challenge delivering 380 shows from Pebble Mill for daily broadcast in the UK and BBC World Service. Working with live audience and multiple guests from hairdressers, make up artists, fashion industry commentators and ordinary members of the public who received a life changing make-over. Jane was also asked to share her knowledge front of screen appearing as a regular fashion expert on the programme.

Fashion Producer at Clothes Show Live at NEC. Live broadcast of BBC’s Clothes Show programmes from Clothes Show Live, working with audiences of thousands at one of the UK’s biggest consumer shows. Later Jane would perform on stage as part of the Style Challenge team.

Producer at The Clothes Show for BBC1. Prime-time Sunday evening show in UK and showcased globally through BBC World Service and  12 years full-time fashion production overseeing teams in UK and Internationally, covering Fashion Weeks in New York, Milan, Paris and London with TV specials in Jamaica, Peru, Hong Kong, Falklands, Ghana Thailand, Trinidad, Barbados, Egypt.  With Jeff Banks and Caryn Franklin.

Fashion Designer at Warehouse creating clothes for first mail-order catalogue. Warehouse ByMail. Special Projects co-ordination: Launching Norman Parkinson Tribute Magazine and working with a variety of photographers including Robert Erdmann, Tony McGee and Carrie Branovan.
